Melany Creasy:
Everyone has a story that includes happy times as well as hardships. In life we get thrown all types of hardships
we never imagined and may not feel equipped to cope with or handle.
My passion for mental health counseling came about in my own struggles in life where I reached out for help;
yes, even us in the field seek out counseling from time to time.
For more than 14 years I have worked in the helping field in various capacities including crisis intervention,
skills training, community education, career counseling, and mental health counseling.
I have worked with all ages, from toddlers to geriatric, who are struggling with depression, anxiety,
grief, trauma, family conflict, attachment disorders, anger, and those navigating new life transitions.
I am a Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor,
and a Licensed Professional Counselor.
My goal as a mental health counselor is to meet you where you are at emotionally and walk alongside you on your healing journey.
I will work with you to help you understand your value and restore relationships with family, friends as well as with yourself.
I will also assist you in gaining awareness, insight, and tools, so you can see and make the changes you desire.
